I've never been to this place but it intrigues me. I would really love to see the inside myself.

I went there as a child when the place was up and running. Pretty neat, but even then it was failing. It was too "innocent" of a place, and could not compete with the supposed needs and desires of the commercial-driven modern marketplace of amusement places.

I live near there, and have vague memories of going there as a child, when it was open. Very nice pics - I especially love the teacup one, something deliciously creepy about that.

I wonder if that will be the fate of Storybook Gardens in London, ON. It's still going, but the rumours of its innevitable closure circulate.

I vaguely remember going there when I was a kid, too. I didn't know it was closed, though.

I'm very close (about 15 mins away) and I've never been in either, but a bunch of their stuff was moved to a local petting farm and I've seen that stuff. It's still creepy, even remodeled.

Thanks - will do as soon as I get a chance. (I love that the internet boils down to such a small world at times. That petting zoo is literally about 3 minutes from my house)

Aw I used to love this place when I was little! So surreal. Even more so now. We used to jump the fence in high school to take photos. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

I've heard stories about that place. It used to be wonderful when it was open, but its been closed for probably 20-30 years now. They never did tear it down, they just built up around it, and that shopping plaza right next to it (I think its called the Normandy Plaza or something) was built right up against it. I've heard of no plans for it to be demolished, nor to fix it up, so hit it up. It should be there for a while. (I used to live out that way a few years back.)

Anyone who wants to go here go soon. There is less and less of it everyday. The 2 castles are still there, the ginger bread house, a tent, and some other random structures.

I don't like to give out locations but let's just say it's not a coincidence there is a shopping center with a similar name...

I feel scared lol.
I think if someone even tried to startle me there, I would scream and pee my pants.
There'd be lots of peeing going on.

But I love the pics and keep up the good work! =D

That's awesome! Why would something like that close down? We have something a little bit similar here where I live, but it's much smaller and located right next to the zoo, so people who go to one usually go to the other. As far as I know, it's not going to close anytime soon unless the zoo does.
