Remaining Patea freezing works

The Patea freezing works was a meat processing plant that shut down in 1982. It smells like ass.

a long time was spent here discussing how to get across the river. eventually we decided on 'cross the main road'. we also received a gesture from a local which was either a unique greeting or 'don't u fucking dare go over there' .

this area used to be full of dead sheep, hence the assy smell.

the stairs were not sturdy nor did they reach the door. these were some of the most useless stairs.

this dead sheep room had a picturesque view

but an alarming lack of wharf.

It really does take a long time to get rid of that dead sheep smell. Febreeze is no help.</p>
