Just another old building in the old part of town

Stumbled across this place today while looking for some light hiking.  It's clear to me why it's been left--it still has an old-style floor w/c that opens only to the outside of the building.  What is not so clear to me is whether it's abandoned, being torn down or being built back up.  I've been wrong on that before...

The place I've been following with the aggressive remodel is nearly done and work is mostly on the interior.  I'll need a translator to get the owner's permission to get inside, though I'm hoping to do that.

Meanwhile, an old shop in Daejeon.

They haven't picked up the bills in awhile...

In a travel guidebook published in January 2013 you can read that Art Center Manho is one of the must-see places in Anseong.
It is said that this is Complex Cultural Facility which has an art shop, gallery, restaurant, outdoor wedding hall and bungalow.
Judging by its condition it has been long time since people used this facility... Though the atmosphere is very romantic.
All the pictures of the rooms (except for the gallery) were made through the windows so you can see reflections.

Bits and notes

First, is anyone getting footage of the Wilshire Grand demolition?  It was written up in the LA Times today that apparently they're tearing it down floor by floor.  I don't know how close you can get a camera but I'd like to see it.

I've been photographing a local house, one that appeared to be undergoing just such a demolition.  I goofed and left the flash on and got accosted by the neighborhood watch guys.  I'm okay, they seem to understand I mean no harm.  However, watching the building it appears to be undergoing an aggressive remodel rather than a demolition.  I have pretty pictures but I'm not sure it makes sense to post them here.

Finally an update on the MegaCity  from this previous post.  There has been no visible work on it since I posted, and a local friend tells me it has been in the condition you saw for approximately five years.  I'll watch the placed to see if anything more happens, but decay is so slow...

Riverview Mental Hospital, a ferry graveyard, and various places around Seoul

I met Michael Arnold when we both lived and worked near Seoul. Today he posted some pictures from a ferry graveyard on his FB page, so I hit him up for permission to post it here. Instead he gave me a link to his Urban Exploration YouTube account, where he's about to post a video compilation of those very boats.

The hospital and ferries are both in British Columbia.
