The massage parlor building consists of two double-wide mobile homes, connected by a covered and walled in walkway. Much of the roof of one building, which contained several small bedrooms, and the Madame's room with a king bed, had collapsed. The "working" building, containing the public shower room and the massage rooms, was largely intact, though the door had been kicked in.
Fairly large photos under the cut.
The first thing a customer (or trespasser) sees upon entering the "working" section. I guess this is an acupuncture/pressure chart.
These two pictures of the kitchen were taking in the waiting area of the "working" building. You can see where the kitchen has been ransacked by police and several trespassers over the years. I'm fairly certain that this is where local teens go to get into trouble.
An armchair in one of the "massage" rooms. You can also see the wall mounted mirror, reflecting part of the uncovered bed. While the business was in operation, these rooms were lit by table lamps equipped with red bulbs, though the power is now out.
Two pictures of the living room of the "living" building, showing where it has been ransacked. Objects of note here include several broken glass nicknacks (these were also found in the Madame's room, mostly glass swans), and a blond wig. After this, my camera gave up the ghost. Further investigation found that the four fairly large rooms in this house had been partitioned with thin paneling to form smaller bedrooms where the "working girls" lived, while the Madame kept a large bedroom for herself. A few pairs of thong underwear were found around the building, along with a Korean sex-ed VCD and a quite old jar of pickled eggs.
I intend to make another foray into these buildings when I have the time; my girlfriend does not approve of my poking around there, so getting a chance to go digging is somewhat difficult.
