detail of door on an abandoned storage shed. I like the rusted metal underneath the peeling veneer.
Same shed, only this is the door. Fear not, the debris inside is non-organic.
I like the muted colours on this'n. This is the side of the shed. I wager the brick chunk was someone's effort to keep critters out of the hole.
An outbuilding at the head of the property. The door (I am a sucker for doors and stoops) had swollen shut with the damp. I will prize it open when the weather warms up and photgraph the interior.
Detail of door. Nice and mouse proof, eh?
Looking through the front door window with supressed flash, same outbuiding.
Window detail from a 60+ year old farm house down the road. I met our local cattle rancher the day after I took this. He said the house was the one he grew up in and he's 60+ plus himself. Nice man. I may ask him for permission to photograph the interior.
What's an old farm house without an old hoop and backstop? Need to find a way to silver out the powerlines.
These two are of the area around where I live. Desolate, but lovely. And quite exciting when the cows make a break for it.
