Ye Olde Mill Site

I posted some pictures of this place earlier: http://community.livejournal.com/abandonedplaces/1492071.html

It's just one of dozens of mills in this area that went out of business in the '80's.

I went back recently on a cold, clear morning.

It's just a tiny little building with broken windows where kids occasionally hang out.

Moving on down the road, you find another little shed near the man-made pond. This may be where logs were off loaded into the pond for sorting.

The pond is full of garbage like this tragic couch. It's also positively swarming with bull frogs in the summer.
