More from Northern State Hospital, Sedro-Wooley, Washington State USA

I can't wait to go back here again and take some more pictures. I love this place-the sadness, the remoteness (is that even a word?), the general feeling of it. My S.O. and I have a trip planned over the next month or so to go back, and hopefully we'll find some more p

I still love this picture, with the moss growing on the roof.

When we were here, there was some coal left in the furnace room, and there were two kids there with a bag lifting some of the coal. I can't believe there was even any left after all these years...but sure enough, there was.

I don't know what this building was used for, but it was set way far back on the property. Really weird and downright creepy when you walked into it...being an amateur ghost hunter, I get vibes when I go's weird to explain, but I was pretty hesitant to go in here, even with four other people.

My friends finally coaxed me into the building, and I see this on the wall when I go in; yeah, really reassuring to my initial gut instincts. It reads "Evil lives here no longer". Sure, no longer-but it sure was there at one point or another. Always, always follow your gut instinct.
