This our state's most famous whore probably. I decided to take my 12 year old brother here to see if he liked UE. He said it was creepy but he didn't hate it. So that is a start.

Love shots 1 and 24. The chimney is damn sexy, and the car is a nice find. Wonderful set of photos. The group shot of you guys is awesome too :)

Nice location and nice shots!

I remember when I took my brother exploring. We did a drain and an old factory/silo. I think he hated almost every moment of it :P Hopefully your brother takes to it better than mine did.

Poor old Thunderbird! I wonder why someone left it THERE?? Yeah, looks like a place I wouldn't want to explore alone...

I like how shot 23 looks likes a puddle, which is not actually reflecting the room it's in.

Oh yeah, that's cool! I didn't notice that before, that it looked like a puddle but not reflecting that room. That puts a pretty surreal little twist on an image that's already a little discombobulating. This picture was one of the others that pulled me back a few times, now I know why. Heh! #30 not just pulls me back for a second and third and fourth look, but it evokes some kind of misplaced nostalgia in me. The lighting is very comforting, if that makes any sense. I don't know, I'm a budding photographer at best so I'm not sure the terminology and lingo, but I can tell you what I like and why!

Anyway, hi. You apparently won my ramble-on-to-a-complete-stranger-on-LJ award for the day. Congratulations.

Nice set I totally expected to see a watchmen pin though.

I wish I could bring my younger brother urbexing with me, sadly he is eight years old and lives in an other country. My older brothers live in Jersey and I believe the one is on probation so no go for those two either.

So I'm really late on commenting on this entry, because I've just found the community and have been looking through the back entries for awhile. Until I got to the "Danger Falling Brick" sign, I wasn't sure whether this was Henryton in Maryland.

Your pictures are absolutely beautiful, especially the ones of the white buildings with the graffiti. I've only visited once, and it was at night. I can't wait until I can go back during the day.

I will say though that walking along the train tracks during the dead of night and hearing the train blow its whistle from a mile away signaling that it was coming was one of the most terrifying things I've ever encountered.
