How to Operate

A former industrial powerhouse/physical plant in Kitchener, ON. I had seen photos of this place and had been keeping an eye out. So this weekend when I was out exploring with Emily we happened across it. Sucess! Plus it was a great place to continue testing my new AF-S Nikkor 17-55mm 1:2.8G DX lens.

Small
Fairly small and un-assuming, not a place you'd want to take a large group of people to.

Door
Sometimes entry is easy, other times you need to take another way in.

SOP
They left everything behind, manuals, guides, ect.

Exterminate
Sort of reminds me of a Dalek.

Urinate
Wouldn't be complete without a urinal shot!

Generator
Turbine.

Inactive Equipment
Every piece in here had the "Inactive Equipment" sign on it.

Generator
Generator, an inline-six engine, looks in good shape, except one of the spark plug cables has been cut.

Controls
All the controls in this place were the old school analog units, no signs that computers were ever used. Awesome.

The main Floor
Fairly small in size, but like the boiler house for the old Firestone plant in Hamilton, was filled with all sorts of interesting stuff. Just don't take twenty people here.

ReadOut
More analog panels.

Stop
That's it folks!

The building and the factory across the road has both been recently sold, their fate is unknown.
