I had been wanting to get back here ever since last summer when they boarded the place up and got active security. Before that it was wide open and the security truck had flat tires and expired out of state tags. A couple months ago I began to see pictures of this place popping up again. I drove by a couple times and noticed no security outside at all where as they used to stand outside. So Sunday we decided to hit this place up. When we got inside and headed towards the warehouse section we kept hearing a weird noise. It sounded just like water running through pipes, like when a toilet is filling up. Odd since I would not expect this to have any kind of running water. The sound was pretty regular so we figured maybe this place had a sump pump of some sort. It is right near the water and it had rained hard all last week. Maybe they had a device to keep it from flooding. Someone else in our group thought they saw a person and we may have heard footsteps. We kind of hid in the back in the shadows for a while. After a bit we got comfortable again and started shooting. When we made our way back to the warehouse again we noticed the water sound was gone. But now we were pretty sure we could hear footsteps above us. The rest of my group was not so into being caught by security so we had to leave. At the time I thought these pictures were pretty good. I was little disappointed when I opened them at home. But this place is really hard to shoot because the lighting is either real dark or real harsh except for the warehouse which is perfect.
