Hi there, long-time lurker, first-time photo poster. I have two small kids that are almost always with me, which doesn't bode well for much exploration. So I live vicariously through all of you and your magnificent photos. I did, however, get an opportunity to take some pics I think you might like, of a brick house that sits near a golf course in my town. I don't recall if it was abandoned or if the owner moved out, but at any rate, it was demolished in a controlled burn. A friend of mine is a volunteer firefighter and he got to observe this drill. Knowing that the damage was intentional makes it a little less eerie, but I love the way it looks now just the same.
Sorry for the crappy quality of some of these. I took these with my old camera which is a Kodak Easyshare, and they are on Photobucket which means they are pixelated all to hell. :( I have a "real" camera now but haven't taken any abandoned pics with it yet. Also, this is my first time doing a cut, so if I screw it up I apologize and please give me a chance to fix it.

8. I wish I could have gotten a shot of this roof from above. It looked like a giant metal flower. 9 10
13. I bet this looked awesome with the vines growing all up one side. In the fire they all peeled off in one big sheet and rolled up on the ground.
