Aloof

Request

First off, I must say that there are some wonderful sets here. It's a community I love to spend time browsing.

That said, I was going through the archive the other day and stumbled across a set of pictures, where some had containers and a logo from a Cryogenics company in what I think was Arizona.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? I wanted to show the pictures to a friend, but alas, cannot find them now.

Thanks a ton.

Life after People

Sorry for lack of photo, but this is just an inquiry.  Did anyone here see the History Channel's documentary "Life After People?"  It really made me think of this group because of how it illustrated the decay of buildings vehilces and other structures.  Here is a link to the trailer.

It's pretty fascinating, and reminds me of "I am Legend."

Abandoned

Abandoned Mill Storage Room

On 1/27/08 my mate and I revisited Laurens Mill. Some old areas were explored and new areas were discovered. This blog entry focuses on an underground parts room that has survived the massive razing of the structure. There were at least two other similar rooms that had been collapsed, burying their industrial treasures underneath bricks and debris.

All 228 pictures of the revisited Laurens Mill are in this flickr set.
