Keeping in touch...

Just wanted to drop in here and let everyone know that I'm still kicking...
I have been very tied up in this whole publication thing, so my presence here is in-frequent.
Things are progressing though, and we have begun moving on to the page layout stage.
I still plan on hitting a several more locations, but I already have over a dozen for the book as it currently stands.
Thus far, these locations have spanned NY, NJ, PA, and MA.

To celebrate things finally congealing and taking form,
here are some select images from the various places I haven't been able to post about.
Not all locations are included here, but it's a fine sampling I believe...

Abandoned Restaurant

So I am a Lurker, and this is my first post. I am by no means a professional photographer. I am sorry if the images are bad.

So Background.
We were driving back up from Orlando, where we went to a wake. There are at least 6 places I saw on I-95 going to or from Orlando to Virginia. I unfortunately could not stop at any but this one. I could not take a lot of shots cause I had my baby crying in the car she was with my husband but I felt bad.

Located off I-95
I think it was in SC
About 90 miles north of the Georgia border
I have no idea how long its been abandoned.

Also found what looked like an abandoned service station behind it.

Mulberry Grove School-Illinois

I was driving around looking for possible places to take pictures of and I found this.....The old Mulberry Grove School. most of the windows are boarded up and there are no trespassing, beware of dog, and barbed wire everywhere. It looks like a really cool old building, it would be awesome to be able to go in it.  I tried doing some research on when it closed down, but I wasn't really able to find anything, but here it is...
