South Island mining town

Denniston is a small settlement in the south island of New Zealand, on the west coast. during the early 20th century Denniston's population was about 2000 due to the large nearby coal mine, but is now basically a ghost town with a population of less than 50. while i was up there i only saw one person and he had a swastika on his roof so we didn't hang out
