Bowmanville's Camp 30

Yesterday and today I spent a bit of time exploring the grounds of what was Camp 30 during World War 2, a prisoner of war camp housing a number of high ranking German POWs during WW2 and the scene of a small skirmish, revolt and escape attempt. The grounds have mostly been used for schools and the like before and after the war and have fallen into disrepair over the last few years as the photos below demonstrate.
