Furnace Tower

This is an old tower that I assume was the chimney to a furnace of some sort in Payne City Georgia. The area around it is not abandoned but this tower still stands unused though the restaurants and antiques shop have filled the once vacant mills. Apparently the building that had the chimney was demolished though as shown by the tangles of rebar sticking up from the concrete pad. I had the luck to be attending a concert at the restaurant next to the chimney while a red shouldered hawk was using it for a hunting perch.

Urbex Photography

Hello there! I was wondering if you would be able to help with something. I'm a photographer from Lakewood, Ohio and I love going around Cleveland, and surrounding areas, and finding & exploring abandoned buildings! My brother and I are planning a 3 month road trip for next summer around the Southeastern part of the country. I was wondering if you would be able to provide any suggestions or locations for the following states; Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana & Ohio. I know that this is a lot to ask, but i'm just trying to reach out to people who actually have an interest in this sort of thing and who might actually have some awesome suggestions! Also, if there is anyone else that you know that might be able to help me, please feel free to let me know. Thank you so much in advance!
