Grand Theater- New Orleans

This was a Grand Theater in east New Orleans. Obviously it was heavily damaged in Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I believe there was some talk of rebuilding/redeveloping the area its in (shopping center type area) years before the hurricane (the area was in bad shape to begin with, its New Orleans East) but Katrina was pretty much the end of that and mostly everything in the area was demolished after. This movie theater still stands, though, nearly 5 years later.

I didnt go into any of the theaters. I had no flashlight and really, you never know when you will come across squatters and such and so there was no way I was going into those. I'm sure they wouldve smelled lovely too. This was as far in as I would go.
