Ship cemetary - Camaret-sur-Mer

In 1892, François-Joseph Keraudren created a shipyard along the shore and sea wall closing the harbour of Camaret-sur-mer. Until 1950's, fishing boats were built here, and went to Mauritania for crayfish. But a crisis in this kind of fishing occured, and the Keraudren family started to store disused boats on the site of the ancient shipyard. Nowadays, a few wrecks remain, slowly turning to rust and rotten wood in front of the Renaissance chapel and the Tour Vauban...
