Old Pottery Factory, Stoke-on-Trent.

title or description This pottery factory has always seemed to be abandoned, but I did see some building materials and a skip outside (which can be seen on the photos), so I think someone is going to restore it. It isn't looking any different so far though, so hopefully it still counts.<P>

Canals were the main mode of transport when the factory was built and this winch was used to load and unload the narrow boats.
